Zak Claxton's guide to enjoying live music in Second Life

[VIDEO] Zak Claxton's guide to enjoying live music in Second Life 位置 TNT - Second Life Tips & Tricks
发贴人 Torley Linden on 2009/12/2
The other day, BadWolf Bracken told me to watch Zak Claxton's video guide to enjoying live music in Second Life. It's both an educational and an entertaining tool – meaning that while it serves as a promotional vehicle for Zak's guitaristic talents like so many concert footage clips do, it ALSO imparts his actual experiences as a live musician inworld. Wet, in-context examples do far more than any boring theory could.

The cultural relevancy – including mixed-reality bits showing how Zak's avatar relates to his enthusiastic first-life self – communicates with power and humor. Also addressed are broader issues of marketing yourself, which every musician (I can relate) deals with. This video is bound to inspire other musicians and listeners who aren't sure how to get involved bringing their passions to SL. It's a touch over 9 min. but I highly recommend watching all because it fills a unique-yet-practical gap, and hey… it's FUN! Thanks Zak!
