Having land in Second Life lets you have an on-going presence in the virtual world, for your home, your business, or whatever other special place you have created. To purchase land in Second Life, you must have a Premium account, current payment information on file, and your account must be in good standing (i.e. not delinquent). You can also rent land from other people, if you prefer.
