Endothermic Reaction




The reaction between ammonium thiocyanate and barium hydroxide octahydrate is endothermic.
It absorbs heat from the surroundings. As a result, the temperature of this reaction will drop quickly.

This causes the beaker used to freeze to the wooden board. In this video, the beaker was able to hold approximately 9kg.
